Hi All,

I was reading a lot of posts here trying to find a way to extend the range of the SS13A without needing to put holes in my wall or having a repeater, piece of coat hanger, taped to my wall.  After a few experiments, I finally found an answer.  This actually worked very well and probably tripled the range.

1) Open the back of the slimline switch.
2) Cut off a piece of 60/40 solder about 6 inches long
3) Wrap the solder around the outside of the circuit board inside the switch making sure that at the top of the switch, you are actually crossing the circuit board about a 1/4 " down from the top
4) Put the back of the switch on.

That's it.  I used electrical tape to keep the solder in place I also took special care to keep the solder away from the battery.  You do not need to have the solder going across the bottom of the switch.

Hope this helps someone.   -:)
