Dust timer error
« on: November 23, 2009, 08:09:16 PM »

I am using DUST to turn on my outdoor light. it was working fine until the day light saving started. Other timers in my house are all working fine, except DUST, which is starting one hour late than the listed time. X10 suppport asked me to reinstall the ActiveHome software, but the problem is still there after I did it. Please help!

I've noticed this problem as well with version #3.236  B:(
If your running this version you may want to revert to version 3.228

Thank you for the response. My software version is indeed #3.236, but how can I go back to #3.228?

Easy.  Go to http://software.x10.com/pub/applications/activehome/ and look for ahp_updt_204.exe.  Save that and install it.  It will replace 3.236 and not affect timers or macros you have.   When the install is complete, use the update link in AHP to update it to 3.228.  X10 has never put 3.228 in the X10 Software Repository.

Thanks Dan,

I am going to try it tonight. Just for curiosity, why X10 tech support don't know it and why they sell a software has bug in it?

The answer to that is whoever puts the new orders together either does not know (Few if any from X10USA show up in these Forums) or does not care.  They have your money, they send it out and the new purchasers wind up here with problems with it.
