What exactly do I do with CM19A USB Wireless Transceiver
« on: December 10, 2009, 05:46:45 PM »

I ordered a kit of x10 stuff and it had 2 camara's with the pan/tilt base. I have this CM19A USB Wireless Transceiver but dont have it plugged in. What exactly does it do and what am I missing by not using it?

I just reviewed your other posts and see you have AHP... as well as PalmPad remotes. The CM19A is just a PC software based RF remote (can not be used on the same PC as the AHP). Looks like you have extra parts now.

The cameras work in groups of four. The power supplies have a House Code and a Unit Code dial. All must have the same House Code and the Unit Codes should be in 1-4;5-8;9-12 or 13-16. When one goes on the others in the group go off.
Did you receive a TM751 Tranceiver in the kit? If not the camera remote can't turn them on and off. Though the CM15A interface can act as the receiver and maybe what X10 was intending to use and then an added transceiver would no be needed.

Yes, I have the TM751. So I guess I do have extra parts. Wonder if anyone would be interested in buying it. Guess I can list it on eBay.

Thanks

Having extras is a GOOD thing!

Yes boxes of extras seem to get used before you know it.  :)%
