Issue using remote (KR22a) to control light switch (PLW01)
« on: January 12, 2010, 07:21:00 PM »

Hi - I'm new to the X10 community. I've bought a bunch of X10 modules for a few projects that I want to achieve but am having trouble even getting started. As a starting point, I'd like to use the KR22a remote to control a few lights connected to a PLW01 light switch. I'm using the Active Home Pro USB interface (CM15a) as the transceiver. House codes, etc have been set and remote programmed to coincide (I'm using C1, C2 etc). I can control lights from the Active Home Pro software but not the remote. Pressing remote is being picked up by CM15a + Active Home software I know because state changes between On/Off in the software and I can also see RF commands in the activity log. Lights do nothing however. When I use the computer to change state On/Off then the lights do work. I'd appreciate any help available
Thanks

Do you have the AHP set to tranceive the House Code you are using? It is under "Tools"/"Hardware Configuration".
