Wiring a KR10 as a leak detector transmitter.

I would like to have an external switch in parallel with the ON/OFF push button.

When water is detected using my leak detector, the switch closes and the KR10 acts as if the button was pressed.

I wonder if anyone has wired a KR10 this way?

The KR10A like the DS10A question in your other post. Is a Security Type Remote. I don't believe it will work with normal X10 devices.
I am not sure if the All Lights On and Off buttons. Send a true X10 On and Off to the address set on the console or if the console translates a command to standard X10 control.

The KR22A four button and KR19A two button. Key chain remotes do standard X10.

There is a bunch of stuff written on using DS10A's for water detection. I've read a lot at the cocoontech.com Site. Some nice stuff here at this forum as well.

The cheap store bought siren units can normally be connected to a powerflash (regular X10) module as well.
