Inconsistent ActiveHome Pro Control?

I've used ActiveHome for many years. I moved awhile back and began setting it up in the new home. I'm running the following configuration:
ActiveHome Pro Vs.3.236 feeding a CM15A which is always conected to a laptop in the kitchen.
I'm also using a SignaLinc plug-in phase adapter on the dryer connection (which does work according to the lights on the unit).
I have a mixture of Lamp Modules, Appliance Modules, and dedicated Wall Outlets and Switches.

Challenge: Sometimes the lights will come on as setup in the program, there are a few that do come on everytime. There are some that have to be turned on from the computer using the software control panel.
Note: They all seem to respond to the off command everytime, that works fine once a unit is turned on.

Question: Has anyone any good ideas here please? I've tried several things noted here on the forum, i.e. changing the modules to 2-way lamp modules, no help. I've set the "multiple" signal box on the modules, no help.

I sure would appreciate some feedback, thanks for the responses.........Dan

X10 problems are usually due to either weak signal levels or electrical noise on the powerline.  You may need to install some filters to isolate "problem" loads from the powerline.

I wrote several troubleshooting guides that may help.  In particular, you may want to read the ones on filters and the Cellet cellphone charger:
