Phone Control
« on: March 11, 2010, 12:07:51 PM »

Personally I have/use Indigo home control software from Perceptive Automation . It has a built-in Web server and client/server architecture that give you control and access to your home remotely from other Macs, PCs, internet tablets, PDAs, and mobile phones. Indigo Touch, is a native app for the iPhone and iPod touch.
Also, I have/use Salling Clicker software which is a utility that turns a mobile phone or handheld computer into a wireless remote control. Salling Media Sync puts your playlists, your music, and your podcasts on your mobile phone.
For my home phone I have/use Phlink from Ovolab. It is an information/message center.

You can learn more about these apps at their respective web sites listed below.

http://www.perceptiveautomation.com/indigo/index.html
http://www.salling.com/
http://www.ovolab.com/phlink/index.php

There is other software available. This is just what I have/use.

I am in no way affiliated with these companies other than as a customer.

Nice, but from a quick glimpse, these all seem to be primarily Mac-based.
