ahp & win7 just died?
« on: February 22, 2010, 08:55:09 PM »

anyone else have their ahp just die in the last few days on win7?  maybe some software update to windows?  I spent 3 hours undelelting, reinstalling, killing all activehome in registry, and all i can do it get it back to a 2009 old file - my latest files all just crash ahp on startup or opening   they look fine in notepad too.  pulling my hair out!

perhaps time to bite the bullet and not just play with the new other program in beta here but actually switch to it?

For Mike, what version of AHP?  Same question to shulby.  Also what if any plug-ins do both you have?  We need more info to properly help you.

Windows 7 Needs AHP version 3.236
my ahp just died.  What beta program are you refering too?  Can you send me a link?
Thanks.
There are many SDK created Softwares that are capable of doing 90% of what AHP is capable
And some can do other things that AHP can't.
Check out the Thirdparty Addons and Software section of the forum.
Most if not all have links to downloads or websites.

AHP 236, the junk version, at least for the majority of AHP users who have problems with it and come here looking for the fix.

been busy.  I studied my axh file and it looks fine but  I had to scrap it.  50k size had years of tweaks.  of course no upto date backup worth a darn.  been rebuilding, got it back to about 1 year into it....  yes, 2.326 ver - timers in 3.228 didnt work any better for me so I put it back to 326.  all add ins here on win7 64bit pro. gave me time to experiment with ihouse more and help them see issue with 64bit win7 that was fixed very quickly.  Im still up in the air on which to use.  I like the server setup of ihouse but not enough time to setup all the if thens yet.  wish I was retired!
