Today I tried triggering an SR227, with several different remotes, I have connected in my barn and it wouldn't work, not even a click. I tried a different lamp in it and that wouldn't work either. When I plugged the light into the "uncontrolled" part of the outlet the light came on. (This was after I fixed the TM571 problem),(see below)
Using my voltmeter I measured the voltage on the "controlled" section, it measures 98VAC and won't switch on/off, the uncontrolled section 119VAC.
Is there any troubleshooting, or resetting it, or did it just go bad? Geez, it was working just a few days ago, and it's not more than 4 - 6 weeks old.
I'm not having very good luck with this stuff lately. I woke this morning to find that NONE of my X10 stuff would work.
What I finally figured out was that both of my TM571s I was using,(not at the same time anymore), were somehow not working. I eventually plugged a lamp into one of it's outlets,(not normally used), and cycled it on/off a few times with the button, then tried it with a remote and it started working again.
Strange, I guess this is what they mean by "Ghosts in the machine"!
I'm about ready to call an Exorcist!
Any help is greatly appreciated,
