AHP3.236 won't recognize my printer

Iam running 3.236 on Vista. When I try and print, a dialog box pops up instructing me to pick a printer.Yet I show my printer already selected, and the program at that juncture doens't let me do anything anyway... but it just pops up that error box and will not print. Ideas anyone?

3.236 is a KNOWN buggy version of AHP.  What are you trying to print?  All AHP prints are labels for Palm Pads. If you don't have any, why bother.  If you have any problems with AHP 3.236, let us know, we have solutions for downgrading to 3.228, the last good version.

It actually prints out list of your rooms, modules, etc...  besides just labels.  OP, have you tried reinstalling your printer to see if that helps?  Just a suggestion.

You are correct. I just printed a bunch of general reports out of AHP 3.228 It may be a problem unique to 3.236, which as I said is a KNOWN BUGGY version.

Hello. Long time X-10 user first time poster.  I am on hold with tech support right now and they don't know anything about this problem.  One of their advanced techs tried to blame it on my computer.  Told me to call my tech support   This must be a Vista issue because they printed the labels and reports just fine on their XP machine.  Believe it or not there is not a single computer in all of tech support that has an OS newer than XP.  What a bunch of @#$%^'s.  They sent me a link to the older version.  I'm going to try that.

Nope, that didn't work either.  I'm running Vista 64.  That may be it.

I have Windows 7 64 bit and there is a lot of software that will not run on it. Many  devices which requires drivers  are not supported. I keep several older XP machines for this reason.
