The wall switch modules could have motion and Day/Night sensor built in to them  -:)   >!

No. No such X10 animal exists.

That's why this is a wish list!  If it existed we wouldn't wish for it.

These wish list items... always get my attention as well. I use NON-X10 motion sensor switches in both the garage and the laundry room. Being non-X10... the sensors react very quickly. They get great WAF as my wife often carries things in these rooms... and the motion sensor switches frees her hands (no trying to flip a switch with an elbow).

It would be a nice X10 item to have available! It could likely be used for occupancy sensing.... if the unit was to put a PLC on the PL. And even if the PLC signals were rarely used... they could be used as part of the alarm system for "flashing".

The OPs subject line ended with a question mark so I thought they were asking is such a device exists now. I'll go back to sleep now.

Sounds like a cool idea to me!   8)

I actually use some non-X10 wall switch replacement motion sensors in a couple of closets.

Would be nice to have them under X10 control and have them report when they sense motion and / or light back to AHP.   #:)
