2 Security Keychain Remote (KR10A) $39.98
2 Certified Like New: Motion Detector (MS10ASD) $99.98
1 Certified Like New: Voice Dialer Console (PS561SD) $29.99

i see this in promotion price but not sure what is "PS561SD" and "MS10ASD"
somebody pls tell me, thanks

They add SD to the item number to indicate "Like New", "Scratch and Dent", or my term - 'Returned Items'.

If you're a new customer, you may want to opt for the new items, to avoid disappointment.  My "like new" items arrived in bags instead of boxes, no instructions, missing parts, but mostly working.

Just my 2c.   ;)

SD. Certified Like New or Scratch and Dent.
Not factory new from reports we have seen.

Thread here may help you with more information.

Don't be fooled by the 'List' prices.  You can get them individually for a lot less on eBay or even at a different place in the same email ad.

all of promotion product is "Like New" or only code SD behind??

Mel99

Probably the not-new items have to marked as such.  Otherwise they could be exposing themselves to legal action.

Call their sales # and ask the rep who answers.  Keep a record of who you talk to, about what and the date and time.  If any questions come up later, such details will work in your favor.

We are all end users and volunteers here.
So we have no direct information from X10 as employees would.

Your linked page shows 5 MS10As and the part numbers do not have an SD on them.
So they should be new and I see Mel99 confirmed it for you.

Mel99

I chatted online with X10 and following is the meat of what he/she said -

( mel )  Are the 5 MS10A's $39.99 new or scratch and dent, or returns? Thanks
( Meia... ) Hello, Thank you for contacting X10.com where the price has JUST dropped on the World's Best LCD Remote!
Click here to check it out!
( Meia... ) Does it say certified?
( Mel)  No, but it doesn't say new either.
( Meia... ) The kits that are not labeled certified are always new kits.
( Mel_Johnson )  Thanks

or my term - 'Returned Items'.

I wonder if the units that caught fire would be considered "scratched" or "dented"?
Maybe they'll take the S to mean "Scorched".

:)

If you whacked them with something putting out the fire, they could be 'scorched and dented'

What's the voltage in Thailand?  If it not 110 volts AC, nothing X10USA sells won't work.
I don't SELL this stuff... BUT I sure do ENJOY using it!!!

220 Volts 50 Hz.
Our US and Canada 120 volt 60 HZ devices will not work in Thailand.

Are you going to be trying to use any Security Lights controlled by the X10 power line signals?
If not. The console may run with a 220 volt to 120 volt stepdown transformer.
The transformer may not allow the consoles line signals to get back to the power line.
The 50Hz line frequency would also make the consoles 60Hz transformer less efficient. So it would be a try it to see if it works thing.
