My new iconremote

Please, help! I can not program my new IR34A NSTinct iconremote to turn on cable box 4250HD.Learning is succesful, but afterward it turns on only Tv, cable box stays off. I tried every options, every code, nothing works. Any sugestions???

I don't know if you have solved this yet,  . . . .
put the IconRemote into "Learn" and input the cable box "power" switch.
