Anyone using the Nstinct with a Sylvania TV?

We have a Sylvania model LC321SS9 TV that we received as a gift.  The remote is not compatible with our DirecTV remote - apparently Sylvania/Funai does not publish the codes.  Can the Nstinct learn the codes from the Sylvania TVs?  Thanks.
