Are timers for Soft-Start Modules done differently than ones for standard modules?  I have 2 LM465's that are Soft-Start and am testing them in a single lamp.   If I program the timer for an on with a 46% dim in the usual way the lamp does not ramp to the proper dim rate.
I don't SELL this stuff... BUT I sure do ENJOY using it!!!

Don't they recommend defining the as LM14s or whatever?

Dan; Maybe this will give you some information.

I have also found that my LM465s with Soft Start do not dim all the way down. They go to maybe 25% and that is all you get. Well unless there is a third revision of the firmware.
I have seen two different date code soft start LM465s act differently. Mostly on how an All Lights On and All Units Off is handled. The older ones didn't flash correctly with a security console alarm.

The info in the link adds nothing.  Already knew that.   I'm getting the feeling that Soft-Start is another X10 "wonderful idea" that is a bomb. If the older modules turned the light on to 23%, that's what the bulb did. On at the prescribed time to 23% brightness.   Another item to the "suits" is why did you not give the Soft-Start modules different part numbers.   Another wonderful miss for X10.  NOT!!!
