I sent this info to Dave for his help, but thought I would post here as well.
Here's what I have:
Dell P4 running XP
AHP 3.296
BVC
I have a digital baby monitor that I modified to work like Dave's for use with BVC.
The mic is located in my downstairs living room. The receiver is upstairs next to my HAC. I disconnected the speaker on the receiver/monitor and soldered in a headphone jack per your instructions. The headphone jack is connected to the line in on my HAC. I have a speaker downstairs that's approximately 10 feet from my microphone. The speaker is connected via the output line on my HAC through wiring that has a output behind my TV. I am using a computer style speaker.
Here's my problem, when I speak, the mic pics up my voice easily, but then I also hear my voice over the output speaker. This seems to be confusing BVC. BVC almost never hears my commands correctly. I did not have this issue when I was testing BVC on my laptop using headphones to listen, so I know it's not a BVC issue.
How do I prevent my HAC from playing my voice over the speaker? I only want BVC's voice to sound through the output.
Thanks in advance for your help.
