I have AHP version 3.280 running a few appliance and lamp modules. Nothing fancy all running various timers. All of a sudden for no reason (no changes to AHP, Vista desktopoff, CM15A location, etc) ALL the timers stopped working. I can still control the modules via the Palm Remote (and even my Commander iphone app); but none of the timers are working, plus any new ones I set up to test.

What could be causing this and how could I fix it? Thanks in advance....

clear the CM15's memory. unplug him, remove his batteries. let sit for a few minutes.
insert batts, plug in, and re-download from AHP.

does AHP's log show the commands being sent to the CM15; on time?
Do you have an XTBM meter with which you can 'see' the timed commands occur on the powerline?

I've never found this to be true. I have never had a situation where module-based timers didn't work, but macro-based ones did. And the only times my timers stopped working were when the CM15A locked up (caused by my attempts to use USB-over-CAT5 extenders). In those cases, neither the macro timers, nor the module timers worked at all, until I reset the unit.

Lee, check your AHP version again.  There is a 3.301 version but no 3.280.

I never said that there was anything wrong with troubleshooting, and I have done my own fair share of troubleshooting.
However, the comment that timers set on modules don't work as well as timers on macros was my issue with that post. If the program isn't working as it is supposed to, then something is wrong. Most users here haven't reported that same issue. It might be cause by corruption in the AHX file, or any number of reasons (such as noise). In this case, it is possible that the commands are being sent by the CM15A, but are not being received because of other noise or interference.
In addition to the steps you suggested, I would also suggest making sure he upgrades to the latest version of AHP, and also tries a clean AHX file, if the steps you described didn't work.

Yes, the batteries are there to hold the clock time, should the power ever fail.

Well I live in Vancouver, BC, CANADA and the last time my software was updated was for the iPhone accessability. And just to confirm, I am indeed using version 3.280.

I just checked X10.com and there is NO AHP Version 3.280 version listed on any part of X10USA.   Where did you get it?

I believe 3.280 was part of one of the plug in installations and never available alone.

Same problem here, just developed this past week. Have been working fine for over 7 years. CM15A, AHP 3.304, many modules and lights. Like I said never had a problem, however way back when this problem developed and I replaced the CM15A and all was fine. Does this interface have a life span? Mine is 4 years old. I've done everything described in the previous posts. Windows 7 64 bit SP1
