I'm with you Dave.  I hope my comments were'nt confusing, I didn't mean to offend you if I did.  My use of an appliance module to turn off my TV was just another fun way to use X10 and maybe save some power in the process.

If it saves money, great, if not I'm having fun using the stuff and there's definately value in that.

I cerntainly don't subscribe to the whole environmentalist mindset.

No offence. I've been misunderstood before... and was just trying to be clear. Like yourself... some of my projects also save me a buck here and there. But mostly... X10 adds value to my life by adding safety, security, and convenience.
