I have 6 macros. 3 are used to turn on lights and 3 are used to turn off lights. I need these macros because I'm not allowed more then 4 hours and 30 minutes between turn on and turn off times. I have 1 turn on macro running when I need to start a turn off macro. Both of these macros are running at the same time. Is this allowed? rtourino

The CM15a is a polite transceiver so there shouldn't be a issue.

I'm not sure why you don't use timers as they would be more actuate!
As well they would use less CM15A memory I would think!

I have a 3200 square foot house with 2 Power Panels. Using only event timers are not very reliable. I was led to believe that Macros provided a more reliable system. Is this not true? I have tried crossovers with little success. Any suggestion? rtourino

I can't make suggestion without knowing exactly what your trying to do!
If what you have is working for you there is no need to change it.
Since your using strickly macros it is possible for the times you want things to happen to get out of wack.
I don't think this would happen at a noticable rate thought!

Thanks to all who responded. I have returned to using Timed Events instead of Macros. Macros are no longer an issue. rtourino

You can always mix and match to get a desired effect that is more accurate then just macros or timers on they're own!

But wait ! There's more.
Guess I've never run into the macro time/length issue (4.5 hours). You could chain a couple macros in series (?)
Create a macro; call it Delay4 for example. Trigger on G5, insert a delay of 4 hours then a command to turn your light off.
Macro 1: Turn on the light, Delay 4 hours, call G5 On using Appliance Module (Advanced pulldown).
Enable timer for Macro 1. Sit-n-wait. Macro 1 kicks off at your prescribed time and turns your light on. It will delay
for 4 hours then...
G5 kicks off and waits for another 4 hours; after which it sends the command to turn the light off.
Want more time? Create dummy G6, delay of n hours, call the next dummy..., etc.
haven't tried it but I betcha it works just fine.
