Vanguard creates too many files
« on: January 30, 2011, 11:28:01 AM »

When I press record and let the Vanguard record a few hours of video I get one 13 meg
file and several thousand 40k files. Why? All I want is one file to view. All those files are
overwhelming the file manager.

Help

Not sure if the wiki has any tips but you may want to give it a look.

When Vanguard starts up it starts taking stills at 5 second intervals. On your C drive the "my image " directory will have these for the entire time the software runs divided by 5 seconds. You can turn this off...options,snapshots...storage frequency=never.
