A question regarding Compact fluorescent lamps. I have found that they do in fact cause me problems with communication with most of my modules unless they are on the same circuit that my CM 15A is on. My question is, before I change back totally to  incandescent, will the new LED lamps cause the same problem. Also I have been trying to locate the whole house noise filter from X10 but cannot, anyone with the model number?

Like CFLs. Some LED bulbs are fine with X10 and others are not. I have a EarthLED EvoluxS that kills X10 while one of the EcoSmart 9 watt ones I have are fine.

Have you tried things like selectively disconnecting device in the house. To check for noise makers and signal absorbers?
Many electronic devices like computers and TVs may need an X10 filter.

Do you have any coupling between the houses phases?
The noise from the CFLs maybe pushing a marginal situation over the edge of reliability.

Whole House Noise Blocking filters are made by X10Pro PZZ01 and Leviton 6284. I don't think X10 carries them. Many automation vendors do. They require an electrician to install them as you have to run the main Neutral feed wire through them. They will not do anything for noise inside the home. Only keep noise and neighbors X10 signals out of your house.

Thanks Brian, I will look into those LED lamps. Also about the whole house filters. I will have to see what else I can do. I have tried everything from the capacitor across phases to using extension cords to keep everything on the same circuit. My house is small and I have only 12 cameras and a couple lamp modules. Even so with such a small system it is hard to get all the modules to work all the time.
