   How can I automate, "turn on off" my hardwired interior/ext. lights via. DSC 1832 alarm panel?
I found a module for sale, PC5580TC - DSC Escort Voice Module, The module includes a built in interface to control up to 32 X10 units and four thermostats.

What will this module work with?  Their is no support from DSC on X-10 products.
 
  I was thinking about the X10 wall light switches, for the lights I want turned on, in an alarm condition through my DSC panel.
I'm not intrested in the sockit type relays, as the lights to be turned on are ceiling fan lights or t8s, even candlebras.

What do I need to make the lights come on?

Hopefully a forum member has the DSC system.

The simple answer is:

IF the 5580 sends X10 control signals to the powerline, yes it should control X10 modules (Wall Switches, Appliance Modules, Lamp Modules, etc) , baring the typical Noise, Phase coupling, Signal sucker problems that sometimes interferes with X10 powerline signals. These "hinderences" are all solvable.

This post below indicates the DSC system requires a X10 interface to actually couple the X10 generated control signals from the DSC system to the homes powerlines.

Also if the DSC provides a closure upon alarm, that closure can be coupled to a X10 "Power Flash" which will in turn send out a X10 House Code, Unit Code ON signal on the powerline. When the closure goes away the Power Flash sends a HCUC OFF signal. Any X10 or X10 compatable module will respond if set to the same HCUC.

Hi,
Escort sends only signals to x-10 module PSC04 (Powerline Interface). Then PC04 (in Europe XM10) sends powerline X-10 signals.
Your DSC alarm system allow you to automatically:
-trigger designated light(s) to turn on following the keypad buzzer during entry/exit times
- trigger designated circuit(s) to be activated or deactivated based upon a programmable time schedule
- trigger designated light(s) to turn on following the armed/disarmed status of the panel
- trigger designated circuit(s) to be activated or deactivated based upon an alarm event
-provide timed and/or telephone control of central heat systems
-trigger garage door to open & close (keyfob)
....and there is also Automation Output Follower. Sends X-10 command if particular PGM is activated.

Thanks guys, with your impute and some research I found some manuals that cover some x10 basic install components that I think should work well.

That should be a good start to get it working.
The manual states the options are endless, I guess its time to read more x10 forum......
I'm surprised that theirs not a lot of talk or information on incorporating X10 into wired systems, or i just haven't found it yet.
