I was testing the sc1200/sc12a console remote access via phone.  Works perfectly for me as I have set on 1 ring answer. 




did you turn off your answering machine???

mine with answer machine on won't work when answering pick up

I have no answering machine and do not share a phone connection with another device.  Its dedicated voip line via magicjack.com

I am also unable to  make it work with Answering Machine. B:(
I have talked to customer support and they are pretending that there is no such issue. There are many people who have reported this issue.

From support:

Thank you for your request. I am afraid I need you to wait while I discuss further steps with the tech team and some of the developers. We are seeing a very high volume of support requests right now. Please rest assured that I am doing what I can to see the issue resolved, but it will take some time. As soon as I receive further information, I will let you know. I also have the same issue. Once the answering machine picks up, the SC1200 just does not work. The documentation says that it should still accept the code but it does not.

The documentation maybe wrong.
We have seen a few errors in it. Seems they just did a reedit of the 49-1000 Radio Shacks Manual and missed things.
