ActiveHomePro V3.310
« on: April 07, 2011, 10:53:31 PM »

I just purchased a security system and AHP 3.310.  I'm running Windows 7 with all of the updates.  If I minimize AHP it closes. It will not reload unless I reboot.  Any Ideas ???

Check your preferences. You may have "Minimize to System Tray" checked.
In Windows 7, many of the System Tray icons get hidden by default. There is a little icon there to click which brings up a box with the hidden ones, and also an option to choose which ones get displayed all the time, etc.

That might be what is happening in your case.

Noam - I stand corrected.  AHP goes into the hidden icons bar as you thought.  It is not a setting in the programs windows settings - it just happens to be the way windows handles it.

Glad to hear. You can set it to not be a hidden icon, and/or to drop to the Taskbar (instead of the system tray) if you want.
