Newbie - Macro Not working
« on: April 08, 2011, 07:25:06 PM »

I just got the macro program and wrote the following macro

Macro Name: Frt Door Hall Light
Trigger: 1 Frt Door - Sensor Triggered
Trigger Conditions 1 Front Door - Sensor Triggered and
The Time is between 6:30 PM and 2:00 AM
End Trigger Conditions
Turn Hall Lamp ON
WAIT for 5 minutes
Turn Hall Lamp OFF

Both conditions are met but the lamp is not actuated - I must be missing something - all help gratefully accepted.

UPDATE - the reason the macro failed was that the trigger condition needed to be set to the sensor being closed.  I really don't understand as I thought that the condition of triggering the sensor was the logical condition.

UPDATE - MACRO PROBLEM RESOLVED
The issue was the trigger.  I used a trigger of Front door - sensor triggered (DS10A).
This trigger did not work - the correct trigger is - Delayed Sensor Triggered
That solved the problem and the macro now works as expected!!!
