I live in the dominican republic. so electric power 24/7 is not available. all my lighting are done with cfl. also i'm using inverters.
which modules are working with this appliances?
having in the moment the problem that activehome is working when electric power is available from the street, but not working when coming from the inverters.
Think that's a problem of the wiring.
any advice?

If your using inverters that are not producing a pure sine wave you risk destroying the modules.
Some modules won't work on a modified sinewave others will but not for long before the insides heat up!

I was trying a TM751 on an APC UPS unit as a test for someone here.
It has a modified sine wave output and I smoked it real good when on battery.
X10 power line signals didn't pass through it on AC. Due to its filtering on its AC input.

I melted a tm751(as well) on a modified sine wave while testing at the cottage before I converted to a Pure Sine Wave.
Since harrydr is using a cm19a there probably is a tm751 in the setup.
The evidence is there, this module will melt!

Modified sine waves produce alot of noise which effect PLC signals from getting threw.

I'm using a cm15A in combination with TM751 working on the street electricity. But like to get it working with my inverter. What I have to do do get sine wave or filtering.

Filtering won't work!
You'll need to get a Pure Sine Wave Inverter.
These usualy cost close to twice as much as a square or modified sinewave inverter.

Most low cost inverter or UPS are using a lot of square waves to simulate pure sine wave. That square waves interference with X10 signals. Also they can cause X10 devices to mis-calculate the zero crossing time.

Filter can not filter out those square waves, since that is the power provided by the inveter.

There are a lot of sine wave inveters on eBay pretty cheap.  There are also generator using pure sine wave inveter. Pur sine wave inverter also make your CFL lights last longer.
