Ninja work from battery pack,,,please help....

I am working on a project that requires me to run the ninja from a battery pack only.....

Where I am......I tried a 12 volt power supply,,,it centers,,,but no remote control functions,,,,,,

I dont know what color of wires to wire it up to a external power supply,,or a battery pack...

PLEASE HELP ME....what wires would I hook up to a correct matched battery pack,,,,,,
3 wires
red
white
ground, or bare,,,
What do they each operate,,,,please help

I would try both white and red to +12 volts and the bare ground to the -12.
With both white and red always on. Only one camera can be used as all functions will be active at all times.

I've run a Ninja off a 12V battery myself. The setup was actually solar powered and I used a door-lock-type remote to cut down on power drain. You might also notice I modified the Ninja antenna to get better range:  http://www.youtube.com/suitmanIM#p/u/6/Ft9-yxNb47Q
