CM15A Turns OFF module, won't turn ON or dim
« on: July 27, 2011, 08:05:51 AM »

When I manually turn ON a lamp on a Lamp Module, the CM15A will not dim, but will turn it OFF. The CM15A will not turn it ON, however. It will turn an Appliance Module ON and OFF. I am trying this from the CM15A software running on a Windows 7 PC and clicking on the module's ON/OFF switch. No macros are running, the CM15A memory is cleared. I have tried unplugging the CM15A from the 110V socket, removing the USB cable, removing the batteries, waiting for a couple of minutes, then plugging the CM15A into the 110V socket, connecting the USB cable, and reinstalling the batteries. Still the same, no turn ON or DIM, but will turn OFF after a manual turn ON. This is a new CM15A which worked for about two weeks before this apparent failure. Any ideas? Should I just send it back?

Are the Lamp Modules defined correctly?
If they are soft start use the Lamp Module Devices tab.
If they are before Soft Start. Use the Older Lamps (No Soft Start) Devices tab.

Soft Start is where they ramp On and Off. The older ones instantly turn On and Off with no gradual ramp.

What version of AHP are you running?
What type of bulb do you have in the lamp?
