SC546A Chime - Low Volume

I have installed a 2nd doorbell with SC546A Chimes. Their volume (output) is quite low, especially if a radio, TV, etc. are on. (Also, my wife has a hearing problem.)

Has anyone modified the chime to increase its db output?
