Hi. When I bought my house it came with a X10 Powerhouse mini controller, which appears to have 8 switches (actually 4, but with a selector to change from 1-4 to 5-8). The first one controls the pool lights. It has occurred to me that I could use the rest of the buttons for other things, but I don't know how to get started. I don't know if it matters that this controller is probably 10 years or more old. How do I connect other devices to this controller?
