Adding a non gmail email account

How do you add a non gmail email account? I followed the same procedure as my Android phone but it will not access server, I'm guessing due to no cell service.

Problem solved, for some reason it kept changing the port that I changed.

Info for anyone trying to setup bellsouth email account,

Choose POP, instead of IMAP.

AND

Use the ATT POP settings*: Change the POP server to pop.att.yahoo.com. Change the SMTP server to smtp.att.yahoo.com. Check the option labeled Use an encrypted connection (SSL) and change the SMTP port to 465.
