I purchased an Activehome Pro module (CM15A) a while back from ebay.  I used it for a while but then packed it away for a few years.  I've recently decided to start using it again but I do not have a registration number or order number.  How can I get a registration code when all I have is the module and no information of the purchase?

Brian H

If you did not buy it from X10.
You will have to contact the seller as they probably had the registration numbers assigned to their sales stock.

I have the same problem but I purchased from X-10 several years ago. How can I get the number? :'(

Brian H

Do you still know your Order Number?

I had to install ActiveHome Pro and all the plugins onto a new computer. (Upgraded computer) After entering all the codes I keep getting a "Server Error"

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks

Same here.  I think their server is down.  It'll be a hoot whenever they pull the plug on their business.

I keep my registration on a USB ZIP250 drive that contains all my .ahx files and most versions of AHP.  I had my old PC kill both it's hard drives and to install AHP on the new PC was a snap as everything was on that ZIP drive.
I don't SELL this stuff... BUT I sure do ENJOY using it!!!

Yes if the server is down. Even with the proper registration numbers. It could be a problem.

X10 might be clawing their way back. Another poster said they were starting up again (at another factory perhaps). Only time will tell if the post is true.

I did see a story on the net. Where one of the European X10 manufacturers was contracting with a Chinese X10 clone module maker. To have their modules made.
Maybe X10 USA is also getting a different manufacturer over their own possibly closed plant.

Well, the other day they posted on FaceBook that they had SocketRockets back in stock. If they were out of stock due to their old factory closing, this *might* indicate that they have a new factory somewhere.

Dan Lawrence

I just got 2 Socket Rockets from  X10 in New Jersey.  So apparently they have them.

Talked with online chat they confirm the "server down" issue. What features are available or not without registration? Should i even take the time to install switches and sensors as-well as program macros?

I would suggest NO.    AHP may or may not work, you could try and see what happens.

Since the switches CAN be controlled manually, you might want to take the time to install them now, so they are ready to play with once you get AHP registered.
