I see on the X10 web sales pages. There is now a new 5.8GHz video sender.

I thought it maybe a third party thing with an X10 marking.
Found in the manuals area of the FTP site a VK87A Kit.
Looking like what is on the sales pages.
Manual indicates 90 day warranty.  ???

It seems to be using a Composite Video and Analog Audio connection. My thoughts are only standard video and stereo audio can be sent.
No Hi-Def.

Correct. To do Hi-Def, you'd need either HDMI or Component. I haven't seen those around (but I haven't really looked for one, either).

Is there any way of ordering an extra receiver separately?
* Sears Home Control System, Radio Shack Plug 'n Power, NuTone, Stanley LightMaker, BSR, HomeLink.
* Tecmar Device Master, CP290 (LightHouse), CM11A (AH), CM14A (AH2), CM15A (AHPro).

dbussow,

Make sure that both units have the same channel selected. It is important that the side of the antennas that say "Transmitter" and "Receiver" are facing each other.
