Storage issue

My original Airpad will not install the latest update of Adobe reader because it says there isn't enough space available.  I looked at the internal storage, and it shows that there IS enough space.  Has anyone else run into this type of issue?

I get that message frequently. Usually retrying the update (one or two more times) gets it to work. Highly annoying
