You are planing on getting a XPFM? As your original XPFM2 is 220 volt and will not work correctly on 120 volts.

I got out an older date code XPFM {05A05} and it does not have local control.

The XPFM2 inline module itself needs 240 volts AC to function. I know of no way to work around this. However, with care, it can be used to switch 120 volt loads.
