unit (MS14A) will not send an off code weather I have it set up to detect motion at all times or only at when its dark. I have delay set for 2 blinks (2 minutes) Comes on OK when it sees motion. Just never shuts off. Just received this unit today. Is this a bad unit? Please help.

If you are positive the unit is not being retriggered, then yes it may be bad. Reset the motion delay to the default, take out the batteries for a few minutesand re-install. Then trigger it, and set it face down in a fluffy towel, or stick it undaer a shoe box. If it still doesn't send an OFF command then I would send it back.

It seems that the unit will only work with the time delay if it is set to motion at all times. If it is set to D to D then when it gets dark it comes on and when it gets light it goes off the delay has no effect.
