This is the third poll for networking
#1 How is it configured?
#2 What Hardware is used?
 #3 this one, what software?
Rather then ask which specific software users are running I decided to keep the poll small.
Users may reply to this thread with the names of software they are running and how they use it if they wish.

What I'm looking for is what users find they're missing or drawbacks they may have with what they're using.
This may result in more options for programs I or others have created.
Or at least suggestions from other users that are doing what your having a hard time setting up to do.

End users constantly surprise me with creative ways they get software to do things that weren't thought of by the developer.
Please share info on your setups.
I think once others see what is possible more users will see the benefits of a HA network.

I use to use AHP Myhouse but issues with the x10 server made it unreliable.
Many developers seen this and created software which allowed you to connect directly without the need of a external server.
X10 created plug-ins to enable smartphone comunication with a AH network however they also used this external server.
Developers seen the for portable device connection long before X10 and even old programs like X10dispatch are still in use by many today.(to bad they are no longer supported by the developers)
