XX36A question or help
« on: July 21, 2012, 10:15:19 PM »

II just bought the XX36X wireless/wired cameras. I have set it up on my Mac but I installed it on VMware Fusion. I was able to get it to work when it was connected to my wireless router but I do not see in the manual how to get it to work with just wireless. I an guessing that it should world just like a laptop on a wireless network but if I disconnect the power and the cable from the hub I get nothing. What am I doing wrong.
Thanks for any help in advance.

You probably have your wireless settings entered incorrectly. I would double check your encryption and your share key first. If you use WEP, try switching to WEP 128 bits. Wireless Setup Walkthrough

Have you set up port forwarding with your router?
