Garage Door Solution
« on: November 27, 2012, 08:07:53 PM »

I am looking to have my eagle eye motion sensor activate my garage door during a certain time frame M-F when I drive by the sensor and then have it wait 5 minutes and have it close my garage using a Macro.

I was able to get this to somewhat work. The problem is I can't get eagle eye to delay or shut off for the 5 minutes I need. So each time the sensor notices a movement, my garage door goes up and down.

My eagle eye is set for A1.
I have that trigger my Universal control I2.

I have attempted to use the delay on (A1) and (I2) - No luck
I attempted to set up (A1) and (I2) as independent switches  - No luck

Does anyone have any thoughts on how I can accomplish this?

Thanks in advance.

I was able to figure this out. I needed to program a ghost lamp module. So the condition needed to be - When A1 was triggered. It would look to see if the lamp was on. If it was off it would run the macro. If it was on. the condition would not be met and the sensor would not trigger again.

I have exactly the same problem. But in my case I have a magnetic sensor.
