xx38A IR Halo Glare
« on: December 25, 2012, 03:07:34 AM »

I get this glare on my Wide Angle Camera at night, and the contrast seems very dark attached is a pic.
the other issue is that it disconnects and reconnects all the time.

OK so I cant figure out how to attach the screenshot, Help with this would be cool as well

You should be able to fix this by sliding the metal sun shield, that is attached to the upper part of the camera, towards the back.

So the sun shield is creating a glare?
I will try that and let you all know. Also my other one seem out of focus, what is the max distance for field of view to have a clear picture. the marketing info lead us to believe its 80 feet or so. At night it looks OK under the IR light but during the day its kind of blurry in comparison.
I would post a pic if I could figure out how to attach them

If the sun shield is out too far, it will cause glare from the IR LEDs.

To adjust the focus, remove the metal bezel by unscrewing it. Then, while viewing the image on a computer, turn the lens until the image is clear.
