Heavy Duty Dimmers?

Hi folks

Does X10 make any "super duty" dimmers? I operate media and lighting at the church I attend and we currently have some slider dimmer switches that control sanctuary lighting. It would be nice if I could automate this with X10 products. Actually, I DID purchase some home dimmers but I fear they aren't strong enough to allow and operate with all the lighting. The wiring for the existing dimmers is pretty heavy duty.

While not a simple retrofit like X10, requiring a control cable, DMX512 systems are far better suited to your needs.

And, I'm unaware of any heavy duty X10 dimmers.

The 1000 Watt Insteon SwitchLinc Dimmer can have an X10 address added to it.

Few points.
Fairly large.
If next to another dimmer needs to be derated to a lower wattage.
Not cheap.
Requires a real Neutral Power Connection to work.

Leviton makes a high-wattage dimmer that I've seen come up on eBay from time to time.

I have a used PCS LM4L-2000 4-channel 2000W (total) X10 dimmer.  Contact me privately if you are interested.
