Indoor Camera Subject To Cold Temps

I want to mount a camera in my shed(i will create a viewing opening) but I need a camera with an SD card because I have a Mac and was told it wont record. Will an indoor camera subject to 20F temps stop working? ANy other suggestions as to recording with a Mac? Thanks
