Not 100% sure this Sylvania bulb is on the list but it sure looks like my recalled EcoSmart.

LSG explains the problem near the bottom of this web page.
http://ledsmagazine.com/news/10/3/17

Improper application of thermally conductive potting compound and improper assembly procedures at the contracted Chinese assembly factory.

Got an update from LSGC.
They will email me a UPS return label and then send me two replacements. Probably after they get the old ones back.

That would tell me there is no connection between LSGC and X10.  rofl

I have lost faith in Lighting Science Group Inc. products.
I am sure they will replace the bulbs with no issues. All it would take is one terrible incident caused by the bulbs and the Lawyers would have a field day.

My problem is. I also have some of their Definity DFN A19 W27 V1 120 LED bulbs and they spew so much RF garbage. No FM radio in my house will receive most stations. When they are On.
Also when my cable was out and I was using off the air TV. Half the stations went from strong to below useable signal strength if they where On. The recalled bulbs also had RF spewing issues but not nearly as bad as the Definities.

Wow, thats really bad. Do they have UL or CA approvals? Although lighting devices, I would think any testing agency would note the RF spray and tell LSGC to sell the bulbs to DoD as radio jamming devices. DoD would probably pay a couple grand per bulb jamming device.  rofl

I received an email with a UPS prepaid return label this afternoon.
Indicated if I needed a box for shipping use the one the replacement shipped in.
Didn't specify the replacements where shipped but it looks like they may have been shipped. If I can use the box they are in.

Received two replacement bulbs this afternoon.
Hope to test them tomorrow.
New ones are from their Mexican assembly plant not China.
Old ones boxed up and used the prepaid label I got in an email.
May drop at the UPS Store tomorrow.
New ones are their Definity brand. Same as the OEM EcoSmart from Home Depot.

Ran my replacement bulbs for eight hours and then did some tests today.
Although the original Ecosmart ECS19WW120 and the replacement Definity DFN19WW120, look physically the same.
They are different.

When dimmed to a low level. You can see multiple small LEDs in the new bulb while the old one had two large arrays.

New one says 75mA and 8 watts on the bulb. I believe the older one used more power.
Kill-A-Watt Meter. Read 60mA, 6 watts and a PF of 0.95.

Worked OK with a 2456D3 Lamplinc, 2476D SwitchLinc Dimmer, three different hardware versions of an X10 LM465 Lamp Module,
Home Settings HA03 ZWave Lamp Module.
As expected Did not work with a X10 WS12A two wire dimmer.
