Hello I have my motion sensors set to low and the alarm off and these cameras are taking video and emailing me pics every minute. Any way to slow this down?

Not a chance.. thats the same problem i have been having... as if the motion sensor detects the slightes movemnet of almost anything.

If very annoying.

I personally use BLUE IRIS which i can say. the motion detection can be set to a grid like pattern and only detect whats in the grid.
I have been using the 15 free trail

Try Blue Iris..

Once you go Blue. You ll love it 2.

Well I packed up the cameras and requested a RMA. I think I will shop for some cameras at Frys Electronics where they are local and might have more of a variety of cameras. My understanding is that the sensors don't work off of infrared but rather the color changes which can be caused by anything from the position of the sun to the reception of the camera. I did find out that the bug in the IP Camera Viewer software was with the router in my office away from home and not the cameras so that was some good news... I think that if I limit the zones to the areas that I really need them, I will still be faced with lots of windows etc.

Too bad I was just getting used to them and then all the sudden when I turned on the sensors I received two emails a minute.

I am using 3 x10 cameras - xx40a ( ptz pro) xx34a ( indoor p/t) xx36 ( outdoor camera )

FTP: im not techy but i think you would need your own domain name/hosting account from someone like godaddy to ftp to your domain.
Transfer pics or videos from your camera to your IPad?

I have seen the iris setting on the droid app but not on the Airsight control panel? Has it cut the sensitivity down to where it is useful? Seriously my cameras were in a room facing a wall and still going off continuously.

Yes FTP would require your uploading to a server but from what I understand you can only FTP pictures and not videos (automatically). Get a Hostgator account for $66 a year; they don't like their server used for this but it is not against regulations and you will have a cloud with unlimited data.

All these Chinese made IP cameras will fire off many emails with the motion sensor if it is located in a area that gets a lot of natural light.
Clouds will cast shadows which the camera sees and incorporates that as motion.
I have a Foscam located in a bright room with skylights using the motion sensor during the day time is useless.
This has lead me to add IP camera support to PCC so I can incorporate x10 motion sensors to trigger a camera snapshot.
As well as other things still in the works.

The problem in this post is exactly why im using Blue Iris ( a.k.a BI ).

I can config BI to only trigger in a grid like pattern where there is motion and ignore the rest.
For exmaple... My field of view is the sidewalk and street.. I can set up BI to ignore the street traffic and trigger walking on sidewalk.

or only trigger if there is movement after a set period of time.

Any one reading this should consider Blue Iris. I would recommend the Free 15 day trail to prove my point BI is a IP Camera Best Friend.

Blue Iris software for IP Cameras.
If you re unhappy with the airsight software .... try using Blue Iris with your X10 camera.

Here's a nice tidbit...You can make a non-zoom camera zoom in n out with Blue Iris.

Google Blue Iris software

Agreed Blue Iris is the program to look at.
It is not just for IP cameras.
It may be a bit feature packed for the beginner to pick up quickly.

I got the blue iris set up and set the trigger to minimum motion color only and I got my email address in there, I can see the camera on the software so it is connected, how to I get it to email me a snap shot when motion is triggered and start recording as well?
