There are other IP addressable bulbs as well as addressable hubs that then communicate with multiple bulbs. At least a half dozen have appeared in the past year and most have been mentioned here. Here's an interesting one I just came across.

IP addressable lights and other devices.... a complete game changer and the future of HA. Apps can control events right from your phone(s) while informing you of what is going on. Giving the user timers, programmed controls, as well as voice command. I'll be surprised if we don't see flying cars... any day now. The future is here.
