Ultralight (A web server to perform X10 tasks)
« on: April 07, 2015, 04:29:51 PM »

I originally created this to allow me to control X10 at my cottage while in the city while waiting for X10's Wi-Fi module.
It originally interfaced with PC Companion (PCC) to allow any commands it could perform to be tripped remotely.

With the latest build PCC is no longer needed to fire X10 commands.
One could use the AHCMD.exe included in the AHP SDK or any other HA program capable of handling command line arguments.
The full version of PCC isn't required if you choose to use it and since Ultralight sends windows commands it bypasses the PCC trial nags
I built this to be very customizable and as light or feature packed as the end user wishes.
It does require Java to be installed prior.

Yes, I know that. You do a great job. I was just hoping, if monitored by Authinx, the bump might effect an update.

The forum isn't monitored by Authinx.
They do have one IT guy that looks after issues if I bring it to their attention.
The owner will on occasion look at the wish list, reviews and a post that may be brought to his attention.
Updates usually only come when I request one which I do usually every week or two.
I just don't post all responses as many don't offer any more info then I have already posted.

Back on topic:
I added some additional code to Ultra today that enables a screen capture of the servers desktop.
In my tests this allowed me to see the image from My Kinects, my Phone running TAC and other camera images I had displaying in PC Companion.
I plan to add some code to make this display a streaming series of shots but don't expect to get a very fast refresh rate.
That code will be added to the next release hopefully before the first of the week.
