Airsight XX60A review

Tuicemen:
Yes, it is the Outdoor PTZ camera.

One cool thing I noticed in the setup was the ability to use a No-IP DDNS.
Once I've put this threw a work out I'll submit some enhancement suggestions to the owner.
I had suggested the no-ip DDNS option for the airsights, but that doesn't mean I was the reason this has that option!

I managed to remember to check the night vision picture just as I was to crawl into bed! rofl
I quickly pulled up the camera and did a screen shot.
Being tired I didn't even attempt to turn the Easyn camera to the same location or same Zoom level.
As you can see from the attached this would have been next to impossible anyways.

It looks like the final location for the XX60A will be where this EasyN is as I need night time viewing from this location.

I noticed the top of the picture is blurry this morning so I logged on to see why. It appears the Airsight pans a bit to much up and sees the edge of the dome. Panning down just a bit removed that.

Zoom tests:
Initially I assumed the Airsight zoom range was not as good as the EasyN, this does not seem to be the case.
The EasyN does zoom in closer but the Airsight zooms out farther providing a wider field of view unzoomed.
I'm not sure which I like best  without farther testing of the zoom feature.
There may be away to adjust this on one or both cameras ??? I'll examine the mechanics.

I loved the ability to read a license plate with the EasyN and I'm still able to do this with the Airsight though currently not from the distance the EasyN can.
This may not be a big deal as most of time the vehicle is fairly close.

I just got word a new HD version is in (XX70A).
This should be available in a week or two as they are updating the software for it.
I may have to update my Christmas wish list.
However I'm still hoping for a Christmas miracle and the new Wi-Fi module. ;)
