Controller compatibility

Does anyone know if the controller model X10-014301 is compatible with current X10 technology ? It appears as if a vintage version of the SC503 16 ch wired remote.
Thanks,

I don't believe it will work with current devices. It was ultrasonic while today's equivalent remote controls use RF. And, AFAIK, there are no controllers today that receive ultrasound.

The X10 power line signaling has not changed from BSR.
The unit should be able to control power line X10 modules.
As pointed out. Being ultrasonic remote control. Other X10 RF remotes will not work with it.

As long as you treat it as nothing more than a standard Maxi Controller, it will work fine sending signals over the powerline.
