Please add a seconds delay option to scenes
« on: January 17, 2018, 07:45:32 AM »

I pushed for this as well as many other options in app testings. Though at some point you have to say enough with adding and lets get the bugs worked out so we can release, and thats what Authinx did.
the delays I find are a bit confusing how it is layed out But that may just be me.
However I find the length of optional delays is far to long so in this respect it out shines the AHP smart macors which will only run 4.5 hours.
The shortness of a delay is where this is lacking a 1 min delay is the lowest delay possible. This is far to great for most of my macros.
Please vote for how you feel on this as Authinx will look at implementing options with the most interest first.
No votes means it likely won't happen. :(

..... The shortness of a delay is where this is lacking a 1 min delay is the lowest delay possible. This is far to great for most of my macros.

My garage door macro has a 10 minute delay (I've never exposed it's actual time before) built into the macro. It then does a "if this then that" to remind me (announce) that the garage door is open. It seems to me I have one other similar (but slightly shorter) delay in my macros. But everything else is just to let the power lines remain clear during stings of actions. one second would be great in most cases.

Voted. You know if someone DID need a 3 minute delay.... couldn't they just do 3each, 59 sec delays?

I don't think so not the way the app is currently coded. Delays are tied to devices and not separately added.

Yes a delay in seconds is a necessity.  In one case I slowly dim lights with seconds between each step.  That would never work with a minute between each step.

Yes. It was the first thing I noticed when setting up a scene. "Where are the seconds?". I came here to add it to the wish list and others have beat me to it. Now there's one more vote for adding seconds.

So far, the app is capable of doing 95% of everything I need it to do. I've installed it on an iPhone and an ipad. I'm slowly transitioning my timers from AHP to the app so I can test their function. Eventually, as the app matures, I may not have a use for AHP at all. I could still use the CM15A as a transceiver since I don't currently have a stand alone transceiver but with the wifi app, there's probably no need for that either.
