Leviton 6386 Receiver Operation Question

Just picked one up and have a VERY stupid question ....

Will it ONLY receiver the signal from a 6385? A P1 On/Off from a CM11A is the same bloody thing right?
I ask this as this does not respond in ANY way to the CM11A when P1 On or Off is sent - even if it's plugged into the same circuit AS the CM11A.

I would think that any controller sending the P1 On and P1 Off power line commands would show signal strength on the 6386.
What I don't know. Is what the 6385 sends. If it is a continuous cycle on P1 On P1 Off commands. The receiver may not be displaying individual commands from your CM11A.

I hope someone with the unit can provide you with more information.

I have some of the old Leviton DHC Technical Manuals. I will look at the troubleshooting section and report anything more I find out.

Troubleshooting manual shows using a tabletop controller or wired in power line transmitter and the 6386 for tests.
So I would say it should also respond to your CM11A.
It has to be P1 On and P1 Off as it is hard coded to P1.

OOOOOK. ONE day I'll not be too poor to pat attention to the things I do .....
I'd programmed the CM11A with (among the rest of the programs) with a module of P1, dumped to the eeprom and done ... BUT I was using my remote and the transceiver ........

Pulled out my old CP290 and run a little cmd to turn on/off a P1 with 1 second delays. FWIW it DOES need an OFF, as it latches on.
